State of the WAC: Fresno State, Hawaii and Nevada have all left the WAC for the Mountain West. The WAC added football-playing members Texas State and UTSA as provisional FBS members this season. The clear leader of the WAC this season is Louisiana Tech. I would consider it an upset if the Bulldogs lost a single conference game. Utah State is the closest thing to a challenger to the throne, and San Jose State has the ability to surprise.
