2012 SEC Preview

State of the SEC: The SEC expanded to 14 teams in the offseason, adding Missouri to the East division and Texas A&M to the West.  Just like last year, LSU and Alabama should be two of the best teams, not just in their division or conference, but in the entire country.  The winner of that matchup has a great opportunity to play for another national title.  I have Georgia repeating as the East division winner, but South Carolina and Florida should make things interesting.

Projected Standings:
East:

Georgia | 10-2 | 6-2

South Carolina | 9-3 | 5-3

Florida | 8-4 | 5-3

Missouri | 8-4 | 4-4

Tennessee | 7-5 | 3-5

Vanderbilt | 6-6 | 2-6

Kentucky | 4-8 | 1-7

West:

LSU | 12-0 | 8-0

Alabama | 10-2 | 7-1

Arkansas | 9-3 | 5-3

Auburn | 7-5 | 4-4

Mississippi St | 7-5 | 3-5

Texas A&M | 6-6 | 3-5

Mississippi | 3-9 | 0-8
