State of the MWC: TCU had originally agreed to leave the Mountain West to join the Big East, but then left for the Big XII instead. The MWC does add new members Fresno State, Nevada and Hawaii. With Boise State (and San Diego State) leaving for the Big East, there will be another power vacuum to be filled in the conference after 2012.
